Margi is a registered society under the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies (Regn. Act XII of 1955). The chief founders are D. Appukuttan Nair, T.N.N. Bhattathiripad and K.V. Kochaniyan. Margi is managed by a committee of eminent personalities from the fields of art and culture, working on a voluntary basis. The present executive committee, elected by a general body of 50 members is given below.
